About Jeroen

In 1995, Jeroen received three juggling balls from his grandfather.
Since then, his fascination with juggling has never stopped. A year later, he performed at the local fair, which led to an immediate newspaper interview. Soon after, he was invited to the radio and even the live TV show "Het Mooiste Terras van Nederland," where he juggled with torches.
At the age of 12, he attended a masterclass at the circus school in Brussels, taught by a top Russian juggler.
He then participated in numerous workshop weekends with Jan Pier Knaapen, honing his skills in juggling, acrobatics, and clowning.
Jeroen developed his craft primarily through hands-on experience. He worked for various talent agencies, shopping centers, and street theater festivals.
In 2019, he decided to deepen his expertise. He attended a five-week masterclass at the Nouveau Clown Institute, founded by Jango Edwards.
This intensive program took place in Barcelona, where he trained alongside students from Chile, Colombia, France, Spain, Italy, and Russia. During the masterclass, Jeroen was taught by legends such as Jango Edwards, Nola Rae, and David Larible.
Throughout his career, Jeroen has collaborated with many artists alongside his solo shows. Currently, he performs SnowGlobeCircus with three acrobats, Cirquraium with two clowns, and Los Pelicano's with his close colleague Peter Sonnemans.
A remarkable career spanning three decades!
